Looting Bug / coincidence or autocorrection
Hi!
Tonight I bought myself a Smacker One(L) and went hunting Faucervix (Young-Provider). First thing happend was that I killed 10+ of them and ALL was No Looters! I could not believe that I was so unlucky therefore I reloged. First kill after reloging gave a normal loot and the second one looted a pair of Shogun Armgurds (F) TT 14PED! . During the remain of the hunt the loots and no loots was as usual. My theory is that the lootsystem sometimes gets buged but corrects itself, not by giving you your ammo/dacay back but from bigger future loots.
Have you hade similar experiences?
Do you think it was just coincidence or a built in function?

Its the servers that run less...
Yes, try relog...
Lets see if I get what your saing: You have seen this before, and whats causeing 10+ "no loots" in a row is loot-servers overload?
I did relog and immediately the mobs started to drop loots, coincidence?

VanBuren Wrote:I heard quite a few times similar loot theories from my former socmates. One of them used to say that if loot is bad I should hunt big mobs day after because system will try to make up to my loses. But I actually never seen that working this way.
I have also heard and read about such theories, but I did not intend this to be one of them. Those theories usually occurs during longer time frames (days/weeks) and I don't believe it works that way, but this happened in a few minutes.

Wille, hehe... I picture you logging off & on, from now on when you start getting "no loot" messages one after the other!
I think this was a coincidence as well. The loot system is persistent, meaning that it doesn't depend on what you do on your end (whether you're logging in or out).

Hehe... Unless I somehow was disconnected from the lootserver and got reconnected again when reloging .
I got another experiences for you, that has happend a few times. I log in to the game, find myself in some servicecenter (where i logd of last time playing), I buy some ammo, put on my armor and runs out in to the wilds and start hunting. Then all of a sudden I lose connection to the universe and have to wait for 1min to log in again. When entering the universe the second time im surprised to find my self not in the wilds but back att the servicecenter! My armor is no longer equipped and my ammo is not spent, just as if the hunt never took place. BUT (here comes the creepy part) I still got the loot I gained i my inventory! Have anyone of you had an experiences similar to that one?

If the server you are on is not available and you log on you are sent to another location (I seem to recall you are asked if you want this).
Not sure if this is always a TP, or if it also can be an outpost. I seem to recall I always ended up at another TP, but I've had this happen only a few times).
D.
Enjoy!
