Its been a looong time but i have finally decided it is time for a (not so) triumphant return

I apologize for my sudden exodus from the game and the community but ive had alot of real life issues to deal with in the last six months and had been in no state for online stuff

Im still not sure if ill ever be as active as i once was but a little addz is better than nothing

anyways im downloading all the new clients and stuff so hopefully ill cya all in game soon.

hmmm i left the downloader to go all day while i was at work but it seems to be stuck on the dat902_903.ark file ...... any suggestions? would it be easier if i removed the program alltogether and re-downloaded the whole thing do you think?

It took me under one hour to download 9.1 with my poor connection. You should simply continue downloading. If patcher stucks or downloads with low speed try to close it and run it again.

Yeah ive tried that a few times but im running 8 point something so i had to uninstall it and start again.

So its going to be another 16 odd hours before im online again. It refuses to download faster than 22~ kbps which is much slower than my connection is capable of.

That's odd. Even with my connection I was able to download with speed about 30kbps.

Yeaa, i dunno why the game does that, sometimes during mini updates they wont let me go past 1.2kbps LOL

Yeah ive gone over my monthly 10gb dowload limit now too so my speed is limited to dial up speed for the next 4 days .... it estimates the ful dat file will take another 46 hours

I dont think you have to add all friends again... Do you know thay are online, then?

If the FL is blank wait few minutes. It happens quite often with slow connections. Otherwise, like Oleft mentioned above, make sure they are online.

either they all quit, or they were not online when you were.
I'm still online every once in a while (mostly evenings europe time), and unless I am terrilbly mistaken you are still on my FL. I'll say hi when I see you online 8)
