So, those things are like skillgain amps? Strange, I haven't met anyone who was thinking like that. Have you done any tests to prove this?

no test needed these things are only for that, the idea of getting better HA or dmg is all made up I think.

Will Henceforth Wrote:you guys got it all wrong,

The skillmod given by the attachments isnt for the HA or dammage or range.
It is for the skill gains you receive. You wont have more gains than normal without attachments but the gain is amped with the given % for the points you receive in the skill.

example if you have two abrer sights and one alekz scope you have 27% skillmod, this means you get 27% more per skillgain.
If you need 10 gains to get Handgun 1 point up, you now only need 7,8 gains as every gain is 127%

cheers..

You have a very interesting point. I would like to see some tests done on this although I am not sure how you could reliably test skill gains.

I love discussions like that, really gets me thinking.

Both Witte and Will have good points I think.

if the HA would be improved, why issnt it shown in the stats of the gun? (like the dammage is with amps etc)
And it's called skillmod, so would it modify your current skills or would it modify your received skills thats the question.

I made a support case for this, cause you guys made me doubt it, but I was teached in the beginning that it was for expirience enhancer and I believe it.

You jump to conclusions too soon imo. This acually have been tested, but the results were not conclusive, just like the HA tests. The fact you dont see your HA increase in the stats doesnt mean it effectively doesnt. It just depends on how MA designed it, and we all know they are all but consistant in their design choises.

Making a supportcase is probably useless btw, I tried that and got no info. But you can always try Wink

Hello,

I have a question about the weapon attachments:
Laser Sights and Precision scopes.

They show skill modification in percentages, but do they modify the skill gains or do they modify your hit ability.

Im a bit confused because in the discription of the attachments it says: "Increase the shooters aim"
But if they would why isnt it transferred on the stats of the weapon? The Hit Ability stays the same.

Can you inform me about this?

Regards..

I think its just bullshit, why cant they reveal a question about ingame items?
We are customers and have the right to know about the product.

Maybe the skillmod attachments are just a big hoax.

Personally, anything that is ambiguous and kept uncovered by MA, I stay away from. Unless of course I have the time and peds to do some in depth testing. Of course tests conducted by others are a very valuable resource but I would only take a players word for it if they had a very good rep and I was convinced they would have come to a precise conclusion. Anything less than being certain, I just avoid it.
