Edit count stuck at 1
Hello,
Just wanted to say that it appears the edit count on the tag line showing a post has been edited is always 1. I have edited the post on mining depth finds a few times now and while the date and time of last edit shows correctly the edit count is always 1.

LOL - maybe I just need to get my quantity up before the changes are counted.
I'll edit another post and see if the issue is real or imagined.

First edit
After first edit no edit notice came up - this is second edit
Still no edit notice - is there a time limit?
4th edit after a small wait

Are you sure you edited it more than once becaue i only see it as 1 edit as well .... otherwise i would say maybe refresh the page buy i also only see the 1 edit. :/
Edit 1 : mine were edits hours and days later so i dont know if theres a time limit or not but maybe let it rest for now until kaiser or travis come on who know exactly how it works and can enlighten us
Edit 2 : perhaps as i have experienced on other forums there is a cooloff period where you can go back and change what youve witten without it becoming and edit .... give it a few hours and try again .... or even try and small edit test like this on the ore depth post as well.
Edit 3 : bleh
edit 4: double bleh

He simply beat the living shit out of everything that was thrown at him, and the game forfeited.

After the fourth edit I saw the edit notice and it lists 1.
I will wait until tomorrow to edit it again and see what happens.

I have just updated the dodge race thread and it showed as a second edit.
The strange thing is the edits to the depth thread were days apart.
When a new depth comes in I will watch the count and report back.

You need to give it a bit of time to avoid the double edit thing. If you edit in rapid succession it will stay at one edit and not count all of the others.

I just did a minor edit to the depth thread to test it and the count did go up. However my previous edits were days appart.
As to why I care. As the chart is reasonably large it is reasonable to think people will check the edit date and/or number to see if there is new information.
