folks, please help me to locate (and buy) a personal crafting terminal. yes, i know they are uncommonly rare. and uncommonly expensive (heard about 10k ped to buy one). but, is something that has been on my wish list for a while. and hoping that someone WITH a PCT is willing to part with their terminal. pm me in game or send message here. I believe the only two in game belong to buzz and auktuma and i highly doubt they'd ever trade them.

How did buzz and auktuma get them? Leeloo Faith also has one to my knowledge. Personally i'd contact MA direct and see what they would be willing to do...

i did when i first heard about PCT . their response was buy one already in system.

and since i have not had the opportunity to meet and talke with these other crafters, i have no idea how they got their PCT. Leeloo did have one, she sold it. and akoz said he sold his, too.

Leeloo told me there were about 8 that she know about - but that was then .. this is now ..

I don't see any reaosn a serious crafter would sell their personal crafting machines. Maybe try contacting buzz through pm on ef?

not asking the dedicated crafters to give up their tools. (grins) .. but, asking about those that may have one and are not so dedicated to crafting.

so that I may become as dedicated to crafting (big grins) .

actually there are at least 5 in the game, but I am unaware of anyone who has the desire to sell.
Of course if you are to order an extraordinary price you will probably get one.

btw I do not really see the advantage of a PCT. Yes you can craft in your apartment. No it does not give better results than the public terminals.
And no: there are no additional features or so.
It is a little bit of a convenience (no need to run from apartment or storage to terminal and back), but that is all.

There are only three in game that I know of, Buzz, Auk, LeeLoo. I am not trying to be mean but keep dreaming about the 10K price tag. The last time I saw one of them available for sale the price tag was 40K and I seriously doubt it has gone down.

As for where they come from, they are looted although as far as I know one has not dropped in years. MA mentioned that clothing will no longer be looted and personal terminals will no longer be looted. There used to be personal revival terminals but a while back MA offered to exchange them for resurrection chips and since they did that I have not seen one.

I think I saw the one from Buzz on display in one of his shops.
Apart from the 3 persons you mentioned, I am aware of at least one other avatar that has one. Not sure if (s)he will be happy if I reveal his/her name. This person told me there are five (and actually gave me the other name, but I forgot about it).
When I asked whether it was expensive, the answer was "yes". No idea about what has been paid for it.

Ahh cool. I can understand them not wanting people to know. I am positive about that price though and that was almost a year ago so I am sure they are even more now although I seriously doubt anyone is willing to sell one.

I can't get over that question. If you want to craft why spend even 10K on a personal terminal when you could put those funds into your carfting?

The only benefit I see is privacy as you could craft in your apartment. Is privacy really worth $1-4K+ US?

Personnaly I'd make do with an out of the way TP like minopolis or Nyphtown that almost no one goes to if I wanted to stay a little more private. But thats just me.

Collector? Are you aware that all you can collect within EU is just a bunch of 0 and 1 (with value in $ but this is different story ).

The answer is actually simple, because the money you spend on the personal crafting terminal is money you won't lose skilling manufacturing or crafting actual items. And actually, in theory, every time a new member opens an EU account it goes up in value a microscopic amount.

Imagine how much those things will be worth when the Chinese show up (if that ever happens).


BTW Buzz did have his up for sale about a year ago. He may be willing to sell it still for the pright price. The problem is I guarantee the right price is going to be a lot more than 10K

There are a couple, i expect about 8, of them in game but they did not get looted in such a long time I think 10k ped is just a quarter of what the actual asking price will be today. Good luck tho !
