Was the forum prize actually real? I have no way to contact Kaiser and he apparently never responds to PM's besides to talk to someone named travis who was already on my friends list to get 150 of the 300 peds, and every time i talk to him he ignores me Does anyone have any prior experience with this?

Yeah we have both been rather busy and their is actually another issue. travis and I are currently in discussions about two things. Number one being whether or not it is transferable. the forum account you are using was not originally yours and this raises some isues. Secondly we may be doscontinuing the lottery and replacing it with something else. As they mentioned though please be patient we are both extremely busy and have a tendancy to miss PM's at times. As you have seen though, it may take time, but we have always paid .


Just so you know who Travis is, he is the owner of the forum and peauction.com and I am the admin .

Anyway, be on the lookout for some new stuff coming.

I can confirm that I got my prize. Took a little bit of time to arrange as I did not have Travis or Kaiser on FL and we live in substantially different timezones.

As for the transfer: my 2 eurocents:
I can imagine the transfer of an ingame avatar as it has some value (but don't tell MA!)
Wrt a forum avatar: they do not have real value apart from some karma/sweat. Personally I feel these should not be transferred; it is simple enough to create a new one, and personally I would not want to be held responsible or accountable for what the new forum avatar owner would post under my name.

Especially since the account at hand had moderator privileges (guess they are removed by now), I think it should not have been transferred.

Again my two eurocents in a forum where own opinions are allowed....

I'm with dutchie on this one. I really don't see why you couldn;t have set up your own forum name. I am able to access all of my wifes accounts and vice versa but she would kill me if I was to post anything under her name anywhere! The question of whether the prize should be administered is a tricky one. After all Sara was/is the one that entered the lottery so she should still really get the prize. However, how can we be 100% sure that she is allowing you to use her avatar right now? Either way the lottery HAS to be paid out this month in my opinion. It wouldn' be fair to change the format and suddenly say last months lottery was not valid.

As a previous winner I can attest that, in due time :lol: , I did recieve the complete ammount. RL has a way of interupting game life and almost always gets priority.

Secondly, good information security practice is that only one person should have access to a single account. If the password to the account becomes compromised (know to another person or process) then it should be changed immediately. Shared ID's should not be allowed as it removes the accountability of the individuals for actions taken using the account (they can always claim the other guy did it).

Best to start a new account, name it with your name and let us all get to know the real you rather than the ghost behind Sara's ghost.

Honestly, I really don't have a problem with you using this forum account. It might be nice though for you to have your own as it would allow us to differentiate between the people who use it.

I'd rather see you using your own account due to fact that your karma and post count may mislead some ppl who may be unaware of hotty's decision. But this is only suggestion.

Just wondering and not intending to irritate anyone or be pushy, I am just curious what everyone's view is. I appologize for questioning the validity of the prize as I now understand where you are coming from, but here is my situation. Kaiser and Travis are debating whether the prize is transferable as the prize was won by sara but she is no longer the primary user of the account. She DOES still play here and there but only to socialize and unfortunately for me, buy more clothes for her avatar which makes no sense to me. She doesn't even wear them! Regardless she is in college now and goes to school full time so she has very little time to play. Also, the majority of the time she cannot log in to EU because of the lag. She would still play but she cannot use the network for consistent gaming, as it is an educational one. Once she is out of college though, she is going to be taking back her account to play if she wishes to still play. She made the decision to enter the contest on peaboard.com, she said she will talk to kaiser if he wishes her to in able to redeem the prize, but what I am wondering is how the forum feels about this issue. By the way on a more positive friendly note I would love to get to meet some of you guys, and I was laying down low on the forums to get to know the atmosphere first, if any of you could please make a little bit of time out of your game day to let me get you on my friends list(replace those people i don't know with ones i do), please pm me!
