I've just finished reading the transcript of the chat session with Marco. I feel a little disappointed to be honest. I don't think anything really earth shattering came from it. In fact all it seems to say is nothing will happenin tunil the new engine is in place late 2008. I'm sure they have a few things they will introduce before this date but it seems the real juicy stuff won't be happening until then.

No surprise here. It is useless to waste time to implement something to both engines. Also MA needs to work a lot with new engine atm to be prepared for VU 10 (or whatever the number of VU with CryEngine 2 will be).

As long as i still have my account and loots are = or higher im ok with anything. Though in my own opinion i liked the way the game looked and everything about it more in like pre gold or VU 4. Fun times back then

I haven't been playing long enough to know what pre gold looked like. But I don;t mind the way things looked not. Would prefer more bug fixes than prettier gfx atm

I did talk to a guy a few weeks ago. He was in the roleplay business, and so was Marco. I mentioned that I was playing EU and he said he would never touch anything that Marco worked with. It looks like he was known as someone who released unfinished products, and then told people that this and that would come in the next release. But it did never come.
Somehow it sounds familliar this way of working....

LOL, no big surprise here. We have been seeing this for ages from MA. Marco, from what i have seen, is the master of double talk, and when you throw their lap dog EF on the pile they have a place where their mind control can be pushed onto everyone.
