Anyone else get the messege Entropia Univierse is currently offline or off for maitinace when they try to login? It happens pretty often to me...I know that all you have to do is just keep loging it to fix it, but it still happens and is pretty annoying :x
Anyone know how or when this will be fixed? I have friends with the same problem

I have this problem too. Authorization takes ages and after that I get error message. I don't know what MA is doing but it is really annoying.

Sometimes I’m just being logout the game.
Nice when I running around and helping others and gift healing and focus, then just being logout.

I think this problem, is the system cant see when anyone is logging in, there are capacity too them, when they are login, then you that is in a run being dropped, when the server being too busy.

It must be that member that trying to login, is there the system have to know there are capacity to them.
When you are in hunt or a run, you have to stay online, what I mean.

That MA must do, is repair that bugs, there drop online members when a new one login,
Many times I also think, we need to have more servers, to split the capacity etc.

This is very strange what is happening the past couple of days. First time i've experienced it. Have MA changed the way they do things? instead of taking the whole game down for a day they are doing it server by server?

Yeah, seems quite a number of players are experiencing the same login problems and this only started after the server was up from its scheduled maintenance last friday... Hopefully, MA fixes the problem during the next maintenance, 7th August. :?

I had this as well, and of course if you get in and ask there is no problem at all.
Often a retry allows me to get in.

As of very long waiting to get authorized. I have this every once in a while as well. If that happens after half a minute or so I fire up taskmanager and kill the process and just re-login.

So do I. When authorization takes over 30 chance of successful loging in are close to 0.

Hopefully with the new engine stuff like this wont pop up again, because id rather have a working game with average graphics then a game that takes 10 minutes to log into with amazingly amazing graphics that i cant even move in. And yea, hopefully that maintenance will fix

I fear this is not engine related. The engine is responsible for the rendering of the gfx etc.

This has to do with the authorisation server and the connectivity of it.

Yeah I am getting offline for maintenance at least 50% of the time as well. Then upon retry it works right away.

I was referring to the update that will come with the engine. hopefully nothing will get messed up when they put it in, like server lag or anything... not engine related =/

New engine includes brand new network code so it is connected to server side part of network engine. The thing is that MA will change this engine to make it fit game more complex than FPS so I'm not sure if we can now predict if new network code will be better or worse.

But I haven't had this issue before last maintenance so its MA fault and it should be repaired before engine change.

This issue is almost as annoying as the bug when you spin round and round and round and round and have to log out to stop it! I hate when that happens, and I noticed that it wasn't me when I saw this one character spin like crazy for like 2-3 minutes. Guess he tried logging out and wasn't able to re-login because he was "already" logged in.

I don't know about you guys, but my login problems seems to disappear already. Been logging in and out just fine for past several hours now. Maybe MA finally started to do something about it or my luck just changed better! :o
