Chipping

Iv always been told, and have always wondered, Does chipping actually effect unlocking abilities? If it does, what does it do? Obviously natural skills must be better in some way? Iv been wondering because when i was wayyy lower skilled i chipped to RDA and it seemed to unlock at the 18 prof standing like it should have. Any ideas? And also Go me! Just registered, iv been around for a long while but i saw u guys wanted people to register so i became unlazy just for you Wink

whether you obtain the skills naturally or by chipping does not make a difference.
pe-wiki lists when certain skills are unlocked (as far as known)

Enjoy!

Alright thanks guys, these programs really help. But i do have one question. Why when i upload my stats on PE wiki it works but then it overwrites my total and highest skills, how can i fix this and get my total skills?

The answer is that chipped skills do indeed unlock things, but often they will unlock them at an odd place and time such as when you have one skill far higher than the others.

if you chip evenly (i.e. chip what you need to unlock) you will find it unlocks at the normal schedule. no matter what it wil unlock at the profession level it is meant to , but you can adjust when it will unlock by chipping more in one skill over another by looking at how much each skill effects each profession.
