As A "noob" in EU i must complain that we "noobs" dont get any bigger loots than about maximum 50 ped.. And Hunting and Mining is so fun when I get a smaller global.. But with any lootsystem they dont give the bigger loots to us lower skilled persons. I have been depositing since the beginning, even been scammed once and I am about 700 Dollars behind.. Haven't you realised that almost no one gains in this game? Most of the globals is made after spending at least as much money that the global gave. The really true global you make is when you kill aExosaur young and loot a vigihelmet

I have made a few globals even though I think I'm still very noobish but it feels like it was long time ago now. I might have done a silent the other day when I made some manell shoes. I had a lot of residue after 7K and a nice limited blueprint worth about 30-40 PED, I didn't look so much on what was happening so it could have been a part of that residue together with the blueprint.

Noobs get big loots and ubers get crap loots... and the other way around. It mostly depends on luck and how much HP the mob you kill have - not on what gear or skills you have.

Only ones who globals every day is MA. This is first rule you have to know about all loots. If you are on TT+ (TT of item you have achieved is bigger than value of ammo and decay) then you are lucky! There are no legal ways to win with MA. All you can do is to try to have fun.

Please understand that the loot system, we have been told, allows anything to be looted and, since a recent VU, even noob mobs to have very large ped values.

The norm is that you will loose a little overall slowly. If your luck you will profit a little. If you are not lucky you will loose faster.

Do not feel bad if you only get 50 Globals - I would love a 50 ped global once in a while.

Basically the factors that effect your loot are:
- Efficiency of your hunting - typically the more decay the better the return (but not always)
- Appropriateness of your prey - Hunting within your range (both skills and equip) has been said, by MA, to improve your chances of doing well.
- Luck - the largest factor

So, noobs can get loots bigger than 50 ped and there have been quite a few cases recently where they have exceeded the loots of really experienced players.

Have patience, have fun and read all the forums.

Your statement is not correct. Noobs do get globals, even I do ;-). Managed to global about 5 times now, of which one was a 459 ped HOF.

What have you done so far to try and get one?
What are your skills and equipment?
What is your hunting/mining/crafting(?) style

LOL, just skill some more. The loot system will grant you a sweat hof once you get 1k SG skill!

In over 2.5 years of heavy hunting (small and very large mobs) I have had 3 solo hunting hofs:
3k armax in June 05
600 ped argo in dec 05
450 ped thorifoid a month ago

Pretty sure I've put more than a million ped through the loot system and this is the total result of my efforts. However, I'm sure that there are worse off out there since I do get a fair amount of small globals.

try putting 10million peds through things may get better

Let me say this, this is completely untrue. My second week of playing I scored a 729 PED HoF on a combibo provider that took me three run backs to kill.

Loot for the most part has NOTHING to do with your skill. It is ALL about how much you spend.

Well, not how much you spend. Your HOF was probably when you did not spend all that much.

I think the chance of loot is more related to the amount of damage you deal.

Actually trust me it is ALL about how much you spend. When I was a n00b and I got that HoF, I had just deposited a relatively large amount of money. It has VERY little to do with dmg dealt or with skill. Trust me on this. I think Travis would agree with me to a great extent.

It is very simple and true in every type of gambling. The more you spend the greater your risk, the greater your risk, the greater your reward when you are rewarded.

Trust me this is coming from someone who did not loot ANYTHING over 10 PED for almost 5 months. Now I global EVERY TIME I log in and HoF QUITE OFTEN. Often enough that it makes people (including my soc mates) angry. The primary difference being that I spend A LOT more now than I did in those 5 months.

I mean come on I had a 1,000+ HoF on the board every day for a week and I was spending 1,000 PED a day. That doesn't mean I was losing it just pushing that much through the system. I also had in that same week a 1K + Crafting, mining, and hunting HoF on the board all at the same time.

I am speaking from experience. How much you spend very obviously effects the outcome. It does not guarantee big loot but gives you a MUCH better chance.

I always like to discuss the internals of EU, I do it all the time (in bed, in traffic, under the shower, ...) ;-)

This has always been a theory that makes a lot of sense. However, I do not subscribe to it anymore... I do think that econ plays a role. People who use bad econ guns do tend to lose $ much faster
