Hello,

One of the challeges we all face as miners is the finding of resources. However while we may know there is, for example, gold in a given location it does not help us if we dont have the skill to reach the depths required to find it (or if our equip needs to be upgraded). Conversely why use a massive finder with high decay if you know the area only contains materilas that can be found with a TT finder?

To assist with this I have put together a chart of depths that ores and enmatters have been commonly found at. This should help you to indentify if you can effectively mine an area and what type of equipment is best. NOTE: it is generally accepted that the better your finder the larger the deposit you may find and that TT equip has a chance, alothough severely reduced, of finding rare materials.

If anyone has any additions or updates to this list please post them and I will update chart.

Also, I don't think you mine Angel Scales... I found them once and it said "you found something strange" and it came in with the narc that was listed in the claim.

I don't know if I agree with better finder means bigger size. I have seen no evidence of this at all. I have used MANY different finders and have seen no find size difference to be honest.

BTW I have found valurite at 997m I have also found admoasite at roughly 650-700m.

I found them like this once as well on a force nexus hit on treasure island you dont actually mine them its just a random occurance.

Hang on I found devil's tail once and that was all the claim had. My finder said nothing about something strange.

Were talking about angel scales not devil tail unless the two are ment to work the same way .... in which case im a little confused.

I have updated the table with the depths and the fact that angel scales are included with other deposits.

I think devils tail is another enmatter deposit now and not working the same as angel scales. Please correct me if this is wrong.

Correct, devil's tail is a mined resource just like any other enmatter.
