What does everyone think of this new fap? Yes, it has a learning bonus and it still costs the same to use, but come on! It looks like a pokeball and I can't get straight full heals from the damned thing anymore! Is this the end to perfect healing? Can someone with an adj/mod fap (Kaiser? Travis?) tell me if they got nerfed? While a noob might like that fap, still, come on.

Im 100% with you on this one i dont like the look of the new ones as much as the others. I dont get why they had to mess with the look i mean there was nothing wrong with the way the fap's used to look.

I just wish i'd stocked up on a few fap 5s... grr they'll go for +100 soon thank god i'm sitting on several a103/104s for when the unlimited amps disappear altogether and there's only the crafted limited ones...

+25? I see one transaction in peauction which is at +16.something (and actually was for 25).

Not too sure if they will become that expensive.
If you max the new fap you'll get a slightly better heal (max 10.3 vs max 10).
Also the cost is lower (i've seen both 0.9 and 0.4 as values, where fap5 is 1).
To me it seems that the new fap could be better (at least as soon as you have maxed it).

I didnt actually see the prices but i saw peopel spamming for +25 at PA just 1 guy but yeh seems liek the madness had started allready

Actually I misunderstood the heal. With a maxed fap5 you always get a heal of 10 whereas a maxed new fap will still give between 7.3-10.3.
Then again if the decay of the new fap is less, it could still be more economical.

(and if you do not care too much about economy there are better faps that are still quite affordable).

I agree dutchie, but does anybody knows decay for this new FAP? And what about skillgain is it better or worse with new one? By the way, when I lookd at stats of new FAP I found that I do not have learning period anymore with this one.

decay of the new fap is between 0.85 and 0.91 pec. The message here varies.
and to answer my own question: I understood from someone else that Fap-5's still can be looted.

The Fap-5 is still looted, I looted one after the VU.

Also the Fap 5 is better when maxed (you now can see the interval stats on each fap) But for now the Vivo is better for me

Umm you might want to consider that the largest portion of valuable (L) items are looted not crafted with the exception of some shitty weapons, mining amps, very few useful tools, and worthless (L) armor.

Crafters do not make as much as you think. You have to figure in the VAST amounts of money they lost to get where they are.

I never tested the new Fap yet (I will say). But after seeing one I immediately want one. I realy like the look, cute and still cool. in ather way I like the design. And it got SIB (skill increase bonus) Who I shink is a good thing. But the sad is that I got good skill in faping so I don't know if it goning to do any good. It look like everyone have buy one tho. For I see people here and there running around with this new fap. Question is, is ti's a modes thing that will past wiht the time or is here to stay.

Kaiser is 100% right on this one. My OA 101 BP is just past 21QR now (started from 1) and im only now just starting to get close to breaking even. and at a guess id say that ive spent around 10,000 ped so far to get there. Especially when u consider that to get a OA worth over 50 PED you need to switch it to quality mode which succeeds alot less often and your spending about 7PED a pop on materials. Then paying hte markup on metal residue so that when you secceed it tops it up to full TT price so that its easier to sell.

it is really alot less profitable than alot of people think it is. People ask what they should do to get into crafting.... i tell them all to take up some other profession.

Checked yesterday evening and my skills on fap-5 are lousy. Not that I didn't know that already. The new fab for now is better for me. Only issue is that it looks noobish. If you stand with a fap-5 no-one can see it is a fap-5 unless they scan you. Could be as well a mod fap. The new fap immediately gives away that it is a noob fab (unless the new high end L faps also look like this)

they can also see your health get higher when fapping, so they can see that you have a low fap, unless you should have 1000 HP and the bit the FAP 50 heals look as small as FAP 5 on 100 HP
