I posted this in the argo hunt topic allready but just wanted it up here as well so i could find out what everyone thinks on this coz the way were doing it now seems like its not going to happen too easily with everyone in different timezones.

Look guys honestly this all seems like its not going to work ... were what 15 days into the month and still cant get ourselves sorted out? Can we just let trav and kaiser chose an argo for us and kill it and then post the screenies coz at this rate its never going to happen

Also im still in favour of just splitting the prize between us but thats for everyone to decide.

Also Also as for not being able to enter the draw two months in a row ... i dont think thats really a good idea as its not really fair to those people who are most active in the forum. Rather it should be that you cant win two months in a row or have say you cant win more than once in a 3 month period or something like that where your only excludedfrom the pool when you actually win.

Just some thoughts let us know what you think.

I'm not sure what the ideal solution to this is myself. Since I did meet up with kaiser last night and get to choose an argo for him to kill for me i'm not really in a position to comment in case it comes across as sour grapes or something! However, I think it is a little unfair that all the runners up this month are inelligable for next months drawing. I agree on addz on this point that maybe the winner shouldn't be able to win 2 months in a row. Although the selection process may need to change since addz will be nominated every month at this rate . I think a RNG may be one way of determining the winner in the future. Now that I mention it maybe the monthly drawing could turn into a kind of lottery? Where you can use your sweat to buy tickets and the winning numbers are RNG'd at the end.

no problems with the split here, but neither with the hunt.
wrt the rules, personally I would prefer if runner ups do qualify next month, but winners don't (for a the next month or the next few ones).
And in order to encourage them to keep on posting, maybe have some persons qualifying on the posts in the last month, but also some nominees based on e.g. posting history in the last three months.

All runners up are not inelligable if I understand correctly. I thought it was only the people who succeeded in winning so the same person cannot get the 300 peds two months in a row.

mmmm i cant find the exact post but i believe that kaiser or trav said that ALL contenders for this months drawing would be ineligable for next months...

Althogh at this rate if only the winner is excluded we may not know who that is by the time next month rolls around.

Thats what i said and hence suggested that only the winner be excluded to encourage those who didnt win to remain active.

The first time is always a little rocky. Rest assured though that I have some good ideas on how to speed things up for next time. I think you will be happy with the results.

Thats cool i trust you and ill take your word for it as for my drawing in the hunt the grand prix hits melbourne this weekend so i wont be around at all for the next 4 days so if your really deperate to get it finished just pick one for me otherwise ill try and sort it out next week when i get back.
