Maybe it was asked bedfore (I did not look through all posts) but is it realy nessecary to have the announcements display in every forum?

Well they are announcements and they usually are pretty important so i think its a good idea to put them in each topic that way people cant say "o i didnt see it" "whered you put it i cant find it" "where did you post that anouncement" etc

this is true and common in most forums.

Are there any announcements that are bothering you in particular? I could see about having them if they are old, and I just de-announced one of my own.

New and the most important announcements shall be displayed on every boad but for old ones (especially less important ones) there should be some kind of announcements archive so nothing gets lost.

Well maybe they don't need to be removed but definatly they need to be removed after a certain period of time. If they need to be on top of every forum then maybe find a way to make them stand out from the other posts. When I open a forum now I really need to look where the posts for that forum start and the announcements and sticky's end.

If i'm the only one bothered by this then by any means nevermind :wink:
