Lil rifle help

Im curently outgrown my opallo and was lucky enough to get an a-3 justifier mkII hand me down from a friend who upgraded at just the right time for a nice price Smile

anyway my HA with this weapon is pretty lousy and there is no learning bonus so i was wondering if there is some sort of intermediate weapon preferably with a learning bonus that i should be using without sacrificing too much damage. As is i have an a103 amp as well and can hunt argos quite comfortable in my ghost armor and 2b plates.

Any suggestions?

Instead of using that mk.II, I would say get a breer m2a or whatever u can get at a very low markup and slap a good amp on the thing. I wouldn't start using standard weapons until you even have about say, 5.0-7.0 hit average on a rifle. It's actually not the hit place that causes the major problems, its the damage range as you can lose half your efficiency capabilities that way.

I still would advise to go for an M2a. When you have emptied that one go for a Riker UL1.
This one is from rifle 1500 onwards.
You can amp it with an A103 for more damage (it will say the a103 cannot give the max economy, but you loose out only 0.5 Dam HP there and the riker is more eco with a103 than without (and actually the same as with a102, but with a103 the dam/sec is higher and a103 are pretty cheap nowadays).

Enjoy!

M3a is a little bit more difficult to master as the M2a and does only 1 more dam.
I got mine in action. You can get them both also in the shops from crafters.
M2a typically goes for 44 ped (tt = 39), but if you are lucky you can find it for 43.

When I maxed the M2a, I had not maxed the M3a yet. Still bought one as it was available for a fair price.

I seem to recall I started with M2a at around 1400 or 1500 rifle, after that I went for the M3a.
Be careful to check the stats you have for it before buying.
When I bought my M2a it seemed everything was nice (ha and cha were > 8), but the dam interval was still very bad, making it an uneconomical weapon.

Enjoy!

I also groing out of my Opalo. But as I read at http://www.pe-wiki.info: if you dont have the skills for a a-3 justifier mkII the Breer M2a (L) it's a good alternative.
The A-3 justifier mkII quite expensive for me and the Breer M2a are (L) liminted withs mean that it can't be repair and that is a weaknes.
But it also mention the Jester D-2 as a good alternative to. And the Jester seems not to be to expensive either.
So I don't know wath do choose.

justifier mkII is not very eco. I only use it in case of emergencies (like when attacked by mobs that are slightly bigger than I can handle or when attacked by multiple mobs I can barely handle).

Breer M2A is a nice choice. Yes it is an L weapon, but if you get one cheap that does not really harm you too much.
The irritating thing about L weapons is on the one hand the markup (so actually this means that the decay is slightly higher) and on the other hand that you have to take a reserve if the first one is running low.

Consider the opalo. If it were an L weapon from the TT it would not make any change to its economy.
It is the markup that creates addtional loss. For non-L that does not hold, as you can bring them to the same state (and hopefully the markup is still the same).

Enjoy!

Im actually looking for a BLP rifle now because eventually i want to end up using a Maddox IV ... but the dang markup on all the non (L) ones is soooo high. Myself im not a fan of (L) weapons to the point where I will not use one unless there is absolutely no otehr choice.... and not using one at all is anotehr choice so yeh Tongue

Any sugestions?

No suggesten concerning the Jester D-2.
I also wonder if a shud get me a Melee wapon as well.
I don't yet use one. And with a melee wapon you gain skills in ather attribute like strength or healts.
