Loot redistribution

In the 8.9 information that they threw up, they said that loot was redistributed for the middle of the road mobs(no, not the roadkill Tongue we don't have cars yet). I noticed mobs seem to be looting a bit more often but not with the same quantity of many VU's ago. What are your opinions? Please no 'omgz i never get any loot the loot sucks whine whine whine' posts in this thread thanks Smile

untill 8.9 i hadent gotten a global in about 6 months....im not Uber by any means and do most of my hunting on the argos outside of twin AKA middle to low argos.

i can say that i have seen loot closer to breaking even/profit in 8.9 then i have in anyother VU and even is all i really ask for.

Who knows. If this pace actually keeps up, we may just see a lot more people depositing cash once again to have fun since many people stopped around vu 8.7 or 8.8 I forget which it was. Maybe even earlier. I know I have certainly stopped since it became way too expensive to play.

In my opinion a new player should be able to play the game in a very boring, lame way and break even or maybe even make a few peds here and there by hunting noob stuff with very efficient weapons that aren't any fun to use. This would then encourage the vast majority of them to move onto larger things and have more fun. I believe that the main people to break even and maybe profit a tiny bit over time should be those who have vast amounts of skills so they have a perfect hit and crit rating with their given weapons. I don't believe that there should be another longu hunting and botting team though... Just those who work hard should be rewarded with less impact on their wallet. After all if someone is no longer having to deposit for hunting or crafting or something that often, then they won't just stop depositing, they may take after neomaven and the rest and start buying large pieces of property. I know I would.

I like you better and better with every post of yours i read, hotty... careful Wink

I have made the same observations as you. Others seem to observe the opposite, though...
Also, i actually have had better average return this VU than before, and that's not based on just a little hunting, as you know Smile

Well its people like you DF who deserve to be able to play without having to dent their wallet for everything they do and you've apparently managed to find a way to do that. Now all you should do is buy my sweat from me ^.^ :-P

A friend has noticed that Snables are looting really well lately

The other day I noticed a whole lot of HoFs on Argos, too.

Is it random swings in the bell curves for various mobs or is it deliberate? Only MA knows.

No event has just one cause, no person has just one motive, and no action has just the intended effect.

I think that it must have been just luck because snabbles have never really looted good in all of their existance.

Yeah argos have become much more hunter friendly this VU .... i seem to see more argo globals on my nightshift than i do anything else.

Chuck Norris won 'Jumanji' without ever saying the word.
He simply beat the living shit out of everything that was thrown at him, and the game forfeited.

Hm. Until 8.9 or so I often managed to come out about equal when hunting snabbies, daiks etc around atlas (or snabbies and exa's nw of argus).

To me the loot distribution seemed to be much more extreme. Places that looted nicely in the past give hardly any loot. Got a nice 74 ped global on Bery last weekend after getting 10 ped twice on them on the very same day and spot. However since they loot awfully.
Ditto for corn's & combibo's. Yesterday I shot 30 ped of ammo, got less than 10 ped loot. (shooting with breer mostly). I know that is not enough to be statistically sound, but still the return is quite bad.

Dutchie.

Dutchie, a lot of mobs can do that. You have to study a group of mobs for a long time to find out their average loot and also you have to take into account that you could have been hunting them on a bad day.
