EU companion 2.0

Hi all,

Just released EU Companion 2.0.
It is available from http://www.dse.nl/~meulenbr/EU_Companion/download.html

This version works for VU 8.12.
Unfortunately under XP scanning of socname, avatarname, rank etc are gone (this was not possible with the font nerf in 8.12).

If you have issues feel free to report here, but note that in a few days I'll go on vacation, so it might be that I am slow in responding to messages or in fixing bugs.

Enjoy,

Dutchie.

Enjoy!

Dutchie.

It said it was redirected because of data limit problem . DSE is a free platform for advanced facilities but blocks heavy data traffic ((over 100 mb/week).
Dutchie has to arrange more bandwidht or you have to wait until next week

Waldemar, thanks for the reply.
I just checked and I could get the download page.
This is indeed a free service, and actually I should try to find a better place. Haven't found one yet though.
The issue is also that the 2.0 image has become a lot bigger since it now contains bitmaps for the skill icons and the professions text. I'll try to get some more bandwidth from dse or find a better site, but it'll take some time as I am away from home right now.
If someone has suggestions, please let me know.

Enjoy!

It Still does not work for me. Sadly.
I suspect it's due to one of the following:

Screen resolution
Colour depth. (16 or 32 bit)
low resolution icons (Yes/No)
Visual Quality (Min to max)

Those that have it working, what settings for the above do you use? (options from the log in screen)

TY, For assistance Tel.

EU Companion works perfectly on my PC.

Screen resolution: 1024x 768
Color Depth 32 bit
Lower resolution icons are activated
Visual Quality is at minimum but I've disabled shaders (GF 4 Ti with SM 1.1 was unable to display properly some more advanced shaders) so Visual Quality slide is inactive.

EU COmpanion 2.1

I got some reports that 2.0 did not work for some.
Therefore I decided to create a version 2.1 which has a more relaxed pattern matching algorithm.

Details can, as usually, be found at http://www.dse.nl/~meulenbr/EU_Companion/download.html

And thanks again to blake seven for providing the disk space and bandwidth to host this.

If you have problems with 2.0, please try again with this version.
And if you still have problems with this version, please send a detailed problem report (with all your gfx settings and with screenshots) to dutchie@inbox.com.

Enjoy, Dutchie.

Enjoy!

Dutchie.
