Ideal Item set

What does everyone believe the ideal set of equipment to be? Include Top line, middle range, and low.

My opinion:

TOP

Supremacy + 5B
Mod Merc + a204
Ancient IMK2 +204
Mod FAP

MIDDLE
BOTTOM

Yeah rock bottom would definitely be Goblin (i wouldnt use anything below goblin as goblin is a very decent armor for the cost of it) and the TT guns as well as a rep edge 1x0 because the TT longblades are crapout ... as wel as a fap 5 from the TT maybe a fap 10 after a day or 2 of sweating Smile

I don't like the 1x0 because it doesn't have a learning period. The tt blade actually in some cases might be even more effective than it and might also is quite a bit more efficient too. Why would you buy a fap-10 though?

fap 10 more healing ... now that you mention it thought the fap 5 is def the way to go for this baseline set. also ive used both the 1x0 and hte TT blade and although the tt blade does skill you slightly faster the 1x0 i found was a more effiient weapon, given the money i also found that the 2x0 was more efficient than both of those. even unskill and with a higher decay per swing the fact that i needed very few swongs to kill anything means i stil came out ahea usinghte axes over hte TT blade

just my experience though if you have anything to the contrary post it up here and we will take a looksee

I dunno about the Supremacy... it depends on what you'd be hunting. If you're hunting spiders or PK all day then yes, by all means. However, please keep in mind that sup is very pricey to repair. The star of any A-level mob(SEG/Dasp/Falx etc) is ALWAYS the fap. Any fancy armor is just unneeded overhead.

okay.

TOP:
shadow+plates (if needed) (<-- its so sexy)
mad IV+amp
mod FAP

MID (ill just put my setup)
nemesis
FAP-80
svampa s60 (due to skills)

LOW
goblin/pixie/gnome
opalo/breer-p1
fap-5

travis makes a damn good point skills are the best equipment. HP, FAP, and weapon are the best you can get.

edit:
yes im a pistol guy

I used the tt longblade, and found it sooo slow.
When I started I started with the 1x0 and indeed came out fairly reasonably most of the days. However due to the low misses at some point I moved to opalo. Still planning on graduating in rifles then move back to longblades or pistols.

Enjoy!
