Hi folks,
Does anybody have information about the possibillities of obtaining real time data streams or legal server requests on personal avatar data from the MA servers. I am aware of the My Items section on the EU website.
If you have any info on the LEGAL possibillities, please give me a pointer in the right direction.

| There is no out stream of any kind for any type of data. "Then how do you get the data that peauction uses?" you might ask. Well, it is actually pulled off of web page using a php script. I am afraid there is no way to get what you are looking for without a lot of coding. |

Well, I am not weiry of doing the coding around some HTTP (GET REQUESTS ONLY). I ask this because it slightly irritates me that the whole process of gathering ingame auction data and applying it to good use is a time consuming and IMHO an outdated system. Also it is a bit diffcult to estimate the current actual markups ingame compared to the data (the results vary per site in order of several %) the several websites offer.
Is the website you mentioned a MA source? or is it from a site that is provided by entropia enthousiasts (I thank them all for putting in there free time and sharing it with the rest of us).
GRRmmmbllllsss ... it would be so simple for MA to put a RSS feed or something similar out.

We get peauction information directly from MA but as I stated it is not really a feed as much as a scraping of a web page via php. I agree with you about otudated and old methodology, it seems though that all this is due to MA's reluctancy to be forthcoming with anything economically related to EU in hopes of protecting themselves from any type of engineering of their loot systems, drop rates, etc.
They are so scared in fact that when people found out that I had for the most part craked mining loot within a week or two they changed how it works.
I had it so well figured out that on CND for instance my soc mates could tell me material found, size of the find and what time of day I could give them coords of their find within 30m. I literally would post 25-100 globals/hofs mining a day. then sadly they changed the system and I have not had the time/money/will to try and crack it again if it is indeed even crackable anymore.
Anyway it seems that your best bet would be codign an OCR software and scraping the info from in game lie entropia tracker does. |

What method did you use to try to crack it the first time, if you don't mind my asking? |
